About Me

I am a queer, trans man. I am Palestinian, with a history of immigrating to Canada with my family when I was young. And most recently I am a parent to an energetic toddler!

I received my Master of Social Worker degree from the University of Toronto in 2014. Since then, I have been working as a Social Worker primarily in the fields of mental health & addictions, sexual health, and supporting 2SLGBTQ and newcomer communities. I am also currently working as a Therapist at Planned Parenthood Toronto, where I am able to offer free counselling services to young people (ages 13-29) in the GTA. I participate monthly in clinical supervision and I am always expanding my knowledge and abilities to better my therapy practice. I have received formal training in the following therapeutic approaches:
